The Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development is inviting young people interested in furthering their studies to apply for a bursary to study in their institution of choice in South Africa. Bursaries will be awarded for the duration of a Degree or Diploma determined by the institution of higher learning. The bursary will cover registration and tuition fees payable directly to the institution of learning; prescribed text books and other equipment and accommodation (where applicable).

To be considered for these bursaries applicants need to show academic potential (academic progress report if already at an institution of higher learning), provisional acceptance or proof of registration at an institution of higher learning and a will to be a fulltime student. 

Applicants are required to complete the GPDID Bursary application form accompanied by a certified copy of Identity Document, all educational qualifications, grade 12 certificate, or a copy of your academic record which confirms completion.

Applications must be hand delivered to 78 Fox Street, Standard Bank Building, Ground Floor, Johannesburg.
